The region's premier holiday ice hockey tournament for AA, A (Major and Minor) and B teams at the Mite, Squirt, Pee Wee and Bantam levels! The tournament draws a maximum of 64 of the most talented teams from the Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and New York.

Age levels are based on 2011-2012 USA Hockey age levels. Teams must play with their regular league roster and may NOT add players to their roster for the tournament. House all-star teams at the Squirt, Peee Wee and Bantam levels are allowed if formed exclusively from an in-house program.
Mite teams do not have to be the regularly rostered team from the season and may consist of players from multiple teams throughout an organization. Teams may also be formed from players of different organizations; however, such mixed organization teams may not be permitted into the tournament based on overall team strength. Mite aged players who are skating in a Squirt full ice league are NOT allowed to play in the Cross Ice Division.
Games feature three 12-minute stop-time periods. Four or five games are possible. In divisions with an even number of teams, three games are guaranteed, plus two teams advance to the championship. In divisions with an odd number of teams, teams play a four-game round robin, and two or more teams advance to a championship. We guarantee that 50% of teams play in a championship game!
In the Cross Ice Mite Divison all teams play three round robin games, a semi final and a 5th championship or consolation game.
The winning teams receive the Nutcracker Cup engraved with all players' and coaches' names. First and second place individual trophies are also awarded.
Cross Ice Mite Division
Enter your team or enter as an individual. All Mite divisoins are played Cross Ice with two games being played in the defensive zones. The game is played 3 on 3 plus goalie. Both 6 & Under and 8 & Under divisions are allowed. We are limited to 24 cross ice teams. 16 at the 8 & U and eight at the 6 & U. Teams will be divided into tiers based on team strength.
